Finally this blogspot is bck to normal le...


An Qi Le managed to turn up at my house ard 4 yesterday. We have alot of things to do that we didnt know which to do first. hahaha... Eventually, we started doing the mould & paint cos being the art & craft student during our sch days we wanted to perform our art skills. While waiting for the mould to harden up we played wii for awhile. Imagine... we spent half afternoon doing the painting and was quite satisfied with the results and had enjoyed it. Had made one for kelly & one for claw... hope they will like it. hahah.. Cos we find the mermaids resemble them.

Going for interview tmr at 2pm. Company - Cannery Leisure Pte Ltd... is a lifestyle entertainment group which operates Zirca Mega Club, Yello Jello, Rebel Boutique Club, Fashion Bar, Lunar Asian Fusion Bar, Yue Lounge, Balcony, Café Del Mar, Clinic and Nectarie. Position - Customer Service Officer. Not sure if need to do telemarketing anot... if need do abit sian. Nvm.. will go for interview tmr and see how ba.

My friend till now havent come leh.. already 3+pm liao. Just now 1+ i called her she said she just wake up.. DUHZ... enjoying life also lor... hahaha...

Going to rain liao.. sky dark dark.. went online to search jobs but not much today. But did send a few applications over the wkend.


Saturday was quite fun... I had learnt something - HOW TO JUMP START A CAR.. hahaha

The story started when i drove to People's Park with my mum to buy toiletries. At the carpark we saw my uncle Nelson's car (this uncle is the one whom helped printed our wedding cards). So we went to his office and chit chatted awhile before going over to buy toiletries. After buying we happily go bck to the car but when I turn on the engine the car didnt start... HOLY SHIT.. i immediately knew what is wrong le. Battery flat. I was abit lost for 2mins.. 1st person i called - My eldest sis. She said i must get someone to jump start the car and go to the nearest petrol kiosk or workshop to replace a new battery. While I'm talking to sis, my mum was calling the printer Uncle but he already reached home at Tampines. Uncle Nelson asked us to check his brother, my 2nd uncle...Uncle Tommy. 2nd person I called - KS.. he picked up the phone quite fast saying he just got home from workshop. He said he can come down later after dinner to check. WAH LAO.. will be too late liao leh.. later all the workshop closed liao... somemore next day is sunday.. most workshop no open de. Anyway KS also said even if he help me jump start also have to wait till monday which means is LPPL. On the other hand mum is calling uncle Tommy and fortunately he said he has the jump start cables and will be coming over to help us. HENG AH... But we waited quite long lor.. abt 45mins for him cos he said stucked in a traffic jam. While waiting i found the 24hrs towing and repair service under Honda Kah Motors. So i called and ask ask... WAH BIANG!!! Kill pple put fire lor.. $80 for replace battery.. $70 for transport.. plus GST.. total $160.90. SIAO!!!!!!!!! Eventually uncle tommy arrived with his son (which is also my cousin la) they both helped plug the cables, red kiap the red one.. black kiap the black one.. the car started immediately after i turned on the engine. YIPEE!!! Half done!! Now.. where to replace the battery. I was thinking of checking the petrol kiosk along river valley.. but was just afraid they have closed. Luckily before Uncle Tommy and son left they passed me a name card of a workshop at Alexandra Village. While driving out of the carpark, mum helped to call the worshop and inform them we are coming down... WAH HENG AH.. must really thank my uncle. My Lucky star for the day!

Reached the workshop in 15mins.. greeted by a couple abt 50+ yrs old.. both of them were very nice. Uncle was very experience...he changed the batt, tested it with a current reader and ensure the screws were properly tighten back. They charged us $90.. actually they say is $100 but bcos we were recommanded by uncle tommy they gave us discount. Uncle say the batt he changed is a better grade.. there is another brand panasonic which he can charge me at $80.. but i told him to use the better one la. Anyway is only $10 diff.. dun wan to save such $ later anything happen i dun wan to get scolding from soneone. So happily we left and got home at 8+... dead tired tat night. But was a great experience... After tat i check the net.. the batt Amaron is india most powerful batt. haha.. so its good la.. uncle no bluff me.

Xiao Seng arrive to see the world early...

Our fren KS's son "Xiao Seng" was born wks earlier than expected. He must be eager to the world..

We went visiting yesterday at Thomson Medical Cntr and was excited to see Xiao Seng... He is a very handsome boy with alot of hair & sideburns. Much more handsome than his papa...wahaha

Xiao Seng sleeping soundly but we saw him fidgeting on and off.. maybe we these aunties or jie jies talk too loud liao..

Raffles hospital didnt contact me again... sigh.. Nevetheless another company called and invited me for interview tmr at 10am. Oh.. btw, the position at Raffles is actually admin assistant. The company I am going for interview tmr is Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd. Went to read up the company profile abit.. they r sound system and cinematographic equipment importer and contractor. 1 of the main principal is DOLBY digital.. sounds familiar hoh.. always watch movie got this DOLBY logo appear... Anyway company sounds ok.. will go try my luck.. position applying is Sales Coordinator. Best is the location.. Outram Park.. ha ha ha.. i like.

Good news ?

HR girl from Raffles Hospital called just now asking if I am still keen in the job which I had previously applied. I start to recall I actually went for interview during end May but as there are no news frm them I tot i dun stand a chance. Immediately i told her YES YES YES.. She explained there are some procedure going on and now the manager would like to check if I am still interested. She asked abt the expected salary, i told her the range but is negotiable (since now its their side who is keen).. I told her no problem we can talk over it. She said she will check with the manager and get back to me by this week... hope i can get the job : )

Aiming the disney dance dance revolution.. comes with 2 dancing mats and consist of 40 disney songs.. hahaha.. sounds fun leh.. Checked the price liao.. is ard $120.. better tink about it 1st. Will go sim lim to check if its cheaper...muz do survey 1st. My fren's bro in law juz bght wii also which is korean set and able to download free games... So am i suppose to mod mine too...

Guess how much? $10.74 nia.. plus postage.. all in. Whahaha.. Thanks to Ms Ho for finding the korean accessories spree. But I havent recd the thing yet la.. will post it once I get it.

Second announcement... as most of you out there already knew.. i finally resigned from my company after 10yrs of service. Yup.. 10 solid yrs.. its a long time. But sad to say this company had been thru alot of changes, new management..new working style... and with that pple change...and result to alot of politics.. its no longer the same as before le. Anyway, I've gained alot from working there, not only in experience but also relationship between colls and bosses and even with customers. And now I'm happy and relieve to leave... My next goal is to find another job soon if not I've to really go sell those recycle bags with my pals le. But its a good thing leh maybe we can turn out to be a great entrepreneur. hahaha...

Was on MC today.. not really sick.. just very angry with the darn company I am going to leave. They tryin to be funny with me... still didnt wan to tell me when is my exact last day will be and how many days of leave I can deduct. When I asked.. they claimed HR girl is not in this wk.. will only let me know next wk. As if there is only 1 girl working in the HR dpt.. anyway.. i just ve to "Ren".. so today angry i took mc.. also partly bcos I am going for interview at this company which is a distributor of Oakley..carrying products like clothes, sunglass.. outdoor gears..etc.. location is very near to Gillian's house at redhill... is No. 4 Leng Kee Road to be precise. Interview was fine.. two ladies interviewed me and they were quite pretty.. one of them is the admin manager.. I'll be reporting to her if I join. Working environment quite Ok.. there is actually a Oakley service cntr cum small shop at the front part of the office. By the way the position is Admin/Logistic Assistant. Sounds fun lor.. they say can wear casual leh.. somemore working hrs 9.30-6pm... wah lau.. best lor.. start 30mins later than my current job. And somemore its near and I don't need to wake up early and waste my time travel to the place liao. Sounds good rite...but i guess their pay offered is not that high la.. but i did try to lower my expectation liao.. hope they will really offer me the job lor.. :) Pray hard...

Tmr going to watch free movie at vivo GV with my sis & Ranen.. Ice Age 3.. but bcos its free they don't allow us to watch the 3D version.. anyway better than nothing la.
